"Endless Lullabies" News/Tracklist/Story

News about "Endless Lullabies". The album will most likely be released in the end of February. I am very very very excited about this album.

The album is composed from three continuous movements -

I. Movement I:

II. Movement II:
05. the Darkest Swan
06. the Time Addict's Looking Glass
07. the Sadness Within the Rose

The approximate time for each movement is about 35-40 minutes, and I could say that separate movements act as separate acts of the story in the album. I remind you, Endless Lullabies is the third and final part of my conceptual Low Star Trilogy (first part was 'Lonesone Sky in H Minor', even though the official story was never published with the album; second part was 'Constellations' with story in the storybook). In this album, the nameless protagonist deals with an idea of eternal life.

Also, I might publish the "Low Star" novel later in 2011, as a full trilogy story release in one book.

My next release will be available on November 7th, it is called "Silk Spaceport" ("..the house where I still stood still forever, my silk spaceport, my flooded home with noisewaves - - the starport with the tiny windows towards all the constellations of the universe within.. where I drift out of control, towards darkness, towards the candlelit cruelty.."). The album is dedicated to Carl Detamore, a fellow traveller without a map, who ended up drifting in the darkness forever. This album is a homage to anyone dead from hard drug overdose.

What if you removed the perspective, the pictures, the faces, the words, the calculations of every day's emotions and blissful poetic walk down the road towards the light and towards the infinite night? It's an endless life is what you get.. a timeless existence - the eternal life. This is the prize and price you pay. Getting stuck in time and endlessly floating away towards the future, which will become the past anytime - - - now. You notice the moonlight every now and then. A marker of time, a lighthouse among the dreamless nights and intensified amplified reality. A beacon of that feeling when time floats away endlessly. This is my spaceport, my time-traveling vessel. And yet - every morning you feel as if it was the first time you escaped the cold soft glow of the night - as if it was the last time you could embrace losing yourself to the borders of reality and consciousness and dreams; until the another night; there is always another night.. until the last night forever.

Hello,

first of all, GrooveMine were really nice and reviewed "Constellations" in their website, giving 4/5 stars to the album. You can read the review right here. Secondly, G-Taškas, a lithuanian internet portal for culture news, posted a news-item concerning 'Constellations'. In lithuanian, of course. The news item can be found here.

Since "Constellations" has never been released on any label, I am still wondering about an offer I got from "Fluttery Records" - a small label which could have great potential (or could NOT have that potential, nobody knows). I am wondering, if I want to give away all the rights for this album to a label? I'm quite in a philosophical dilemma here.

01. Travelling Without a Map

- - - "We were travelling without a map, and I was visiting places that were never there. Never was I sure.. how did I ever end up here? Was this a dream or merely a drug induced drowsiness? We were moving through space and time, bodiless, without a map, through the walls, through the light."

my newest ambient EP, 'Naktingalų Giesmės'; a.k.a. 'Songs of the Nightingales' will be out to the public on May 28th. Be sure to check downloads section on that very day. The EP is comprised of four songs - and in these songs I am as intimate with ambience as one can get. The songs are very personal with an in-depth picture of the famous lithuanian composer, Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis. The album is accompanied with a picturebook with 8 excellent illustrative pictures by Lina Bielinytė.

THE PICTURESQUE EPISODES RELEASE GUIDE

I made this release guide so you, dear listeners, would know which album to download and listen to for your particular needs.

Dreams series (Dreams I, II, III) - ambient/experimental/early-demos - First two albums are merely my experiments with possibilities in sound. I do not consider them as quintessential tPE albums; there is some material that I enjoy from these albums, but those are in demo state; except for Dreams III; which is mostly for late bedroom ambiance while thinking deeply.

Strange Lights and Ornaments - midi-rock/collection/early-demos - My shot at simple structure light-headed instrumental rock on midi tools. Again, a demo album therefore no intense interest is necessary.

Songs of the Nightingales / Naktingalų Giesmės - neo-classical/ambient - a homage album to Lithuanian composer; M. K. Čiurlionis. Four songs that dwell into neo-classical oceans with strings and calm ambience. Recommended for attentive ambiance lovers. Read a very positive (7.5) review on the Silent Ballet here.

the Reimagined Sleep Soundtrack - neo-classical/drone - an oceanic album; deeper into repetition and floating drone, rich string compositions, for floating, dreaming and falling asleep.

Silk Spaceport - drone/experimental - an album, dedicated to Carl Detamore; a fellow dreamer and traveler without a map who passed away recently. By this album I am trying to raise my voice against intravenous drugs. This album contains a broken song - "the Deleted Tragic Scene". It does not fit in the album, but that was my preliminary plan - the song is the destructive force of all the soothing dreams that we have. You may choose to delete the song - I won't mind.

Sleeping in the Opiate Forest (EP) - live + floating drone - a live EP (most of the material was played in one take with later mastering and mixing) designed for intoxicated (altered alternative states of consciousness) floating. Not to be taken too seriously; the album has to be somewhat monolithic and the intention was not to attract listener's attention by melodies or something.

A Low Star Trilogy - An album trilogy dealing with a nameless character (self-expression of personal spiritual progress) who over three albums deals with concepts of balance, mortality and infinite existence (immortal life). Even though "Lonesome Sky in H Minor" did not contain the story itself, I am planning to release a novel, based on this story. Something along the lines of "The Little Prince" but in altered states of consciousness. Trilogy is called "A Low Star" because in every universe that this character experiences existence there would be a low star which is basically an exit to another world (reincarnation?). In first album Low Star itself is not mentioned; while the second album ends with character choosing to move on and jumping into the Low Star (the finale; Farewell! Stars). In the final part of trilogy, a massive 2 hour album "Endless Lullabies" the character deals with concept of his own infinite existence through reincarnation (moving through the low stars). How does the trilogy end? You will just have to wait for the album to come out. As with Constellations, album will contain a storybook.

- Lonesome Sky in H Minor (Part I) - post-rock/experimental - musically imperfect beginning of A Low Star Trilogy which deals with concept of balance between the nature (and fate) and flawed mechanical creations (and free-will). Album ends with a note of a perfect balance between two of these elements while one cannot exist without the other. I am planning to re-record this album during 2011/2012 because in my opinion the album is lacks quality. Read the review of this album - the Silent Ballet (only a 5/10).

- Constellations (Part II) - cosmic-rock/post-rock - as seen in the storybook, second part of the trilogy deals with the character's self-reflection on mortality. Character encounters various symbolic events and creatures whilst reflecting on dealing with the Unknown. What lies after death? Read the reviews of this album - the Silent Ballet (a high 7.5/10), Groovemine (4/5), G-Taškas (lithuanian).

- Endless Lullabies (Part III - to be released soon) - monolith of cosmic-rock - last part of the epic trilogy. Musically, this is an evolution of various musical forms to create a flowing cosmic piece which is divided into three 40 minute movements. The most epic music I have ever written. Prepare yourself to tremble at the finale.
